Topic:THE BRIGHT NEW HORIZON FOR SOFTWARE PATENTS Speaker:Robert
In the right setting, a software patent is an extremely valuable asset.
The Supreme Court and the United States Patent Office have revamped the entire
software patent regime for the better. There
are new ways to demonstrate true innovation, for example, showing that a
program creates a new machine as the code is being executed. Find out the
differences between a patent application that the Patent Office will welcome
and treat seriously and a patent application that would be rejected out of hand
as ineligible for patent protection. New opportunities are out there.
